Just for fun.
In my free time, personal projects have been a creative way to keep my skills sharp and continue learning. I have built tools for learning and teaching, games for enjoyment, and small projects for friends and family.
These projects have not been created for any monetary gain.
Game
Pokemon
In Progress
This game was created as a simplified browser version of the original Nintendo Pokemon games. Utilising the PokeAPI, the game features the ability to battle, catch Pokemon, use items, and use the Pokedex. The build allows for randomised Pokemon and locations, and complex battle/levelling functions. The game uses cookies to save data.

Japanese Vocab (Account)
In Progress
This was created as a tool for learning Japanese vocabulary. It uses an SRS (spaced repetition system) to show vocabulary at ideal times for learning. Users must enter answers for each word 10 times in succession to "burn" the vocabulary from the system. Wanakana library is used for automatic English/Japanese typing and the vocabulary list is from the popular textbook "Genki". This version requires an account.
